The Nevada State Fair Queen Contest is held annually to select young ladies who will represent the Nevada State Fair.  Each year a Queen and her court of princesses reign over the five(5) day event and the year until the next queen and court are crowned.  The Queen and Princesses duties vary from assisting the 4H Personnel to judging daily contests to talking to fairgoers (as they are considered Ambassadors of the Fair).  They will be asked to be available every day during the fair, which runs from Wednesday, August 20th thru Sunday, August 24th.  The Contestant should be prepared to answer a series of impromptu questions asked by a panel of judges in an interview process.  The overall winner will be chosen on her personality, speech, knowledge of the fair, education, other accomplishments, and appearance.  Contestants must conduct themselves in a proper, ladylike manner and portray high moral standards.  Contestants will not be permitted to drink alcoholic beverages, smoke, or use inappropriate language at any time.    The decisions of the judges are final.  More information regarding the Queen Contest will be available on the internet or at the Fair Office.

We wish to thank our sponsors for their continued support.
